Specifications
Size Single Series III shutters can be manufactured up to a width of 9.0M wide x 4.0M high. Larger openings can be fitted with multiple doors with a combination of standard or corner mullions.
Operation
Shutters can be electrically motorised and then operated with various remote control or key switch. Single and 3 phase motors are available.
Finish
Clear anodised is the standard, whilst Dulux powder coat range is available as an optional extra.
Warranty
A 12 month warranty against defective materials and workmanship applies.

Curtain
The curtain is constructed using interlocked 93mm x 1.5mm heavy duty extruded slates. The design of the slat produces a flat front surface ideal for department store frontage. The ends of these aluminium sections are fitted with a nylon end clip to ensure quiet and smooth operation. Optional slotting with acrylic infills are available to provide a viewing area whilst smoke, exhaust and air relief can be obtained by using 6mm perforation. Please consult your KRGS Technician about your requirements.
Bottom Rail
The bottom rail is manufactured from an extruded aluminium section 105mm in height and 45mm in width.
Locking
Locking is normally achieved via motorisation, small manual doors can be fitted with a locking mechanism to the bottom rail.
Side Guides
Side Guides are 105mm deep x 40mm wide extruded aluminium suitable for face fit.
Mullions
Mullions generally removable mullions are not recommended for use on the Series 3, please consult with your KRGS Technician should your project have any removable mullion requirements.
Brackets
Brackets are manufactured from 12mm mild steel.
Drum
The drum is manufactured using heavy gauge steel, designed to span the maximum width of 9.0m. High grade bearings rotate around a 35mm steel shaft used in conjuction with a helical coil spring designed to counterbalance the weight, are used to ensure smooth operation of the shutter.
